To those running AEM EMS, where do you have your MAP sensor placed? Apparently my placement is not good (too close to head on runner for cylinder 1) which is causing my oscillation in the signal under full boost. Now just debating the best location to put it. Could I just run it off the throttle body vac line? Would the VSV valve cause an issue with putting it on that line?

 

its behind my glove box, being feed by the vacuum block, which is fed from the throttle body.

 

Throttle body or brake booster I personally don't like the tb because it bounces around in vac

 

Was thinking about dedicating the throttle body line to it, than running the VSV to the one I have on runner #1 that I was using for MAP.

 

I welded a bung in the middle of my intake manifold

On toms car I screwed it into the vacuum block that I ran inline between the brake booster and intake manifold

Anyone know what size the hose for the brake booster is? Im going to pick up some fittings to move the MAP sensor to that line here in a bit, but I dont have my car with me to check.

Didnt tune mine yet. But my tuner screwed right into my vacuum block which is supplied from my i.m. Is this correct?

 

Moved my map sensor to brake booster, problem fixed boost reading under full boost is now perfectly stable, and hell the car even runs much smoother in vac/light load. Wow I was an idiot for putting it where I did, guess it was just convenient at the time.
