So I'm going to go with the standalone. My voc teacher gave me the idea of tearing the inspection sticker off my window and goin to the dmv to just get a 2 year right before put the kit in. So I wont have to worry about that. I'm also going with the Dezod exhaust with the invidia s-pipe and new deatschwerks 550cc injectors.

Will the car run right away after I install the standalone or no?

Also, I will look into xenocron. They aren't terribly far from me. I'll probably have to tow my car up there though.

Default Injectors

Might consider bigger injectors for more power in the future. Then You won't be buying twice like I did. Aem ems is great by the way.

I was told that it wouldnt be a hood idea to go with bigger injectors right away because the fuel system as a whole has to make sense in terms of pressure and the larger injectors could cause problems. Im not planning on building the engine for a while so i'm not worried about it right now. Thanks for the suggestion though. Originally i was going to go with 750cc but theyre not necessary with the power im aiming for right now.

I'd recommend 750cc injectors because it gives you room for growth down the road w/o sacrificing much up front. With 750cc injectors, you won't be even close to using max duty. This way, you can up the boost, along with return fuel system, when you do build the motor. I also daily my tc on 7 psi (10 if I'm running late to work) using the FIC and 550cc injectors. Duty cycle is around 60% at max boost. Passed inspection no problem. Standalone is great for getting the best bang for your buck, plus many more shops do standalones than piggybacks. For tuning, I'd suggest Xenocron, VinnyTen, Dezod, or PTuning. What kit do you have? Most come with the S-pipe, so curious to know why you'd get the Invidia? I'd recommend getting the Dezod Exhaust tip-to-muffler part welded so it won't cause you any problems. Mine kept rotating cuz the clamps wouldn't hold them. Easy fix if you weld those two pieces.

Are you sure getting the 750cc injectors wont cause problems with a system that isnt designed for them? and thanks for the tip with welding the muffler. I'll definitely get that done next year if I end up taking the welding class i intend to.

Sry, I was confusing injectors with fuel pump when I was talking about duty cycle. Still, Dezod offers 700 pnp injectors with their kit (not 750, my bad again). I believe though you'd benefit from a return fuel system with that size (which is a good idea to do right away anyway since you'll need it down the road and it's safer).

What turbo kit do you have? Most come with the necessary s-pipe (Dezod, PTuning, Descendant). That's why I asked about the invidia. You'll need a 2nd O2 bung welded in that as well for your wideband.
