can you install a a/f gauge if you don't have a wideband o2 sensor

 

If it comes with the wideband kit then your answer is yes you can install the gauge, but it won't work without the o2 sensor. a Wideband goes hand and hand with the o2 and gauge. Now, if your talking about the cheap a/f gauges that you see online for like under $100, there not true a/f gauges and don't waste your money on them.

 

Quick answer.... No... if you install a narrow band a/f gauge, it will only be dissapointing for you and do no good.

i saw an innovate wideband gauge for 199$ with sensor and 60$ for the actual gauge. That s all i would need, correct?

 

I believe so.... I like the all in one setups a bit more, for like 10 bucks more you could have the UEGO, which is a great setup...
