no, not entirely. it just controls engine cuts for during a shift. its not easily to integrate with the auto trans since most have different imput/output signals to dig from. I have Emanage Ultimate sitting right here. i've been messing with the software and talked about it with my tuner already. Its more useful for those who have sequential transmissions.

you said it controls the auto transmission, and it doesnt at all.

it "works", but not on the tC like you would want it to. so trans will still slip under boost.

Do you mean that Z in your profile? or your tC? If Z, i have a vid of me smoking a Z for ya. Anyways...

Its ok, i maxed out the Greddy at 18psi. i dont post up dyno numbers of that b/c i dont use that boost level daily. i still havent pulled the nitrous card yet. Got any time slips? HP numbers dont determine how fast you are.

Funny how you turned the technical argument into personal attacks.

I was pullin your chain cheif....lol.

And no, I wasn't talkin about my Z (which will be faster than both the tC and that RSX when done, but it's not being used for drag anyway). I was talking about my girls tC. I'm just mixin it up with ya though, figured the thread needed a little sprucing up...

If it's one thing you will learn about me though, it's that I have always though Dyno Sheets were overrated. Our tC is running a ZPI Stage 1 on it by the way. And I put bus lenghts on the Z as well.

lolz, we're putting the hurting on RWDs eh? yes, i also think dyno sheets arent the real deal, more of a ballpark figure for show. i personally consider it as a tool for tuning.

sorry, i'm prone to getting worked up easily. :p

im using a sc.. so far i have about 6k.. and mmw header installed with no heat protection.. i change my oil every 1.5k and have no problems.. my only advise for you if you install your sc. look for a really good dealership that has installed a sc before and u should have no problems.. as far as my installed i went down with all the install to the spec. i checked 3times to make sure.. if you want to make sure look for a good busy dealership and also when they are doin your sc install.. from there on you should bring it just for them for all your services.. that is always a plus.. make sure they do ur oil change.. so u wont get screwed.. cause they did that last oil change.. then u could have a copy of that and file a complain

i really don't know why you guys insist on saying the TRD s/c is $3k. it is far less than that.

I posted this a million years ago:

dollar for dollar, that might make a difference in your decision.

Did you HONESTLY buy a S/C'er from that site. It looks so "Slapped together" that there is no way in Hell I would buy ANYTHING from it. Where is the Rest of the site? If you ACTUALLY purchased a S/C'er from them, then I stand corrected. However, that doesn't change the fact that it looks shaddy...

Edit...I did a WHOIS search on it...seems legit, but DAMN do they need to re-do that site.

However, when you add in the cost + install, you are looking at $3k+. I can take that same $3k+ and get a Stage 0 installed that would walk that S/C'er.

not everyone has my web skills. but yes they are legit.

and if you are questioning my credibility...as i see you are as you type in all caps, all authoritative like... well, believe what you want. my internet rep doens't mean that much to me, and i'm not even offended by that.

And while you bring up the item + install price (and i knew someone would)...let's be fair and do that with turbo too...

those things don't install themselves either.

I did bring up the install price of a turbo kit. Read above. And the all caps was not intended to be "all authoritative" like...I was just emphasizing them.
