It seems so. I was going to go TRD s/c because my father works for Scion so I figured I couldnt go wrong. Thank god I went turbo instead. Imo, its one thing if your having tuning issue or spark plug problems. Part of it, But a stupid thing like a bracket would make me mad.

Default My S/C bracket

This is what rhythmnsmoke was talking about.

The bad thing about it is that when the clutch install was complete the S/C sounded diffrent and there seems to be a grinding sound coming out of it.
I called TRD about it and there 1st question was did you add headers and cold air intake? Which I said yes to. They aswered back by saiying well the S/C was never tested beyond those mods. So now I have to figure this out on my own as to why the sound in coming out of it and what to do. It was fine before the install witch my buddys did a great job of. No complaints on this end. The question is why now the sound??? If you guys have any constructive criticism I’m all ears thanks guys?

Before we take it back off Rich, I want to get a vid of it making the noise, so we can let everyone hear how it sounds. It's only at Idle. S/C'er is still making power and doing it's job, but now it just makes this noise at idle it shouldn't be. Weird stuff. So, we are going to take another dive in and see what can come of this.

I wish TRD redesign th S/C for the 05s and 06s to make it more stronger and powerful so the owners can keep upgrading the parts for them also. I don't have a problems with mine yet but I don't any problems to come up. I want to hear from one the reps from TRD saying the supercharger for the 07 is going to be more powerful. I don't want to hear he said/she said stuff. How is TRD going to say the S/C was never tested beyond headers and cold air intake mods. They know some of the owners will want to mod some of it's parts. Things that make me go uuuuuuuummmmmmmmmm.

Yes it is getting pretty frustrating with all the problems that come along with the SuperCharger, having to worry about this and that. Im starting to wish I went Turbonetics from the get-go.

Sorry to hear this.

yet another thing for me to watch out for. We really need an answer from TRD. Other than "You shouldnt mod them".

If things don't go the way I like, I may be parting out my car and getting a Evo IX MR. Fast Stock FTW!!!
