Default Anyone else having trouble getting their ZPI kit?

I just want to see if anybody else out there has pending orders with ZPI for their turbo kit, and how long it's taking. I'm at 6 months. Pretty soon it will be 6 months and a few days, which will make it a longer wait than the 6 months I already waited for Scion Speed to never deliver their kit.

Nope, it's been delayed about 10 times.

Best advice to you is cancel the order and buy a turbonetic kit. 6 month of wait, you my friend are one super patient dude.

You know what I love is that when you try to help someone out and what you get in return is spit in your face. You never ordered a ZPI kit we worked out a deal with Racing Solutions in attempt to make the bad situation better. We gave Racing Solution these kits well below cost to help him and you out. We then in return for our generosity our drug through the mud. We know that we have shipping delays and we are not making excuses. We are working very hard on correcting these and are very upfront about these issues. We are not hiding; we are not avoiding the phone we are not Scion Speed. We are good people who tried to help and make you bad situation a little better.

We have tried very hard to stay professional through numerous attacks on our character and products but this one irritates me. I am sorry that it has taken a long time but when we decided to get involved in this whole fiasco 5 months ago we told you and Brian that the other kits came first. This is not to say that your order is not important but we clearly stated terms from the beginning, true we did not think it would take this long but things happen.

I do apologize for the wait but I also think you need to remember that us getting involved in this was only to help you.

Kenny, ZPI

Seems like the standard response from you guys. I never attacked you, accused you of anything or am dragging you through the mud. Please settle down. I'm just seeing if anybody else is waiting as long as I am.

Two of the orders from Racing Solution (that I know of) cancelled because of these delays. You told me that once turbos came in after Christmas season that mine was one of the first ones to go out. I see now that's not the case. This is the first time I heard I was going to be on the back burner.

I've waited this long because of the deal you guys are giving me. But how much help is it really when I'm going to have to wait a year anyways? I know stuff happens, but don't you think this is a little ridiculous?

Once a guy offered to fix my blown engine in my old turbo dodge for nothing and I waited 3 years, and then I sold it to him (guess what? It was fixed 2 weeks later!). That's what you get when you're deferred to bottom priority - screwed anyway.

Look, I appreciate your help. Just..... do you think you could get me my kit soon so I can tell everybody how awesome it is?? (Not to mention regain a LITTLE credibility in the car clubs around here? I've been talking about turbocharging my tC for a year now.)

I'm convinced your setup is the best, but that doesn't matter if it isn't HERE. C'mon, guys!

Just to let you know I have been waiting over 8 months now. I was one of the original pre-orders for a stage 1. I did recieve a stage 0 in the mean time but I am still waiting for my stage 1 upgrade. I am hoping for a tracking # by april. Its nice to know that I am not the only one waiting forever.

WOW, maybe I should re-think placing my STAGE 1 order and just go for the Turbonectics. I have 5G in hand for the Stage 1 and AT upgrade that ScionDAD has been promoting, but I cannot believe you guys have been waiting 6-8 months.
BTW how much cheaper was the price anyways???

I don't think it'd be fair to talk about that - rest assured the kit was still too expensive to have to wait so long for!

I know they've helped a lot of people out, but I'm losing faith here. I don't want this to be a too-good-to-be-true situation.

I will call you (Kenny) tomorrow sometime and let's talk about this stuff a bit.

Always helps to talk to somebody. He caught this thread on a particularly bad day. April should mean EXTRA kits on the shelf, says Kenny.

Lots of you guy know my story - so it all just adds up. I can't even get Bat to send me my overlays I ordered 3 weeks ago...

Default Funny and Weird at the same time

Sounds pretty weird to me. They have your money, but no product and ONLY 1 or 2 members have one- now sounds really weird to me. I got nothing against the crew at ZPI, but this is just too weird. I just can't do it.
Sorry guys but I will no longer be posting here-not that anybody ever responds anyways. Nobody wants to talk a language other than ZPI.
I am sorry for DRAVEN's long wait also, it is completely insane!!

ZPI has to do better than that to get my money. the others that have one must either be family, friends, or live close by and are getting some sort of deal to make it worth their while.

Anybody out there from Turbonectics? PM me so you can give me a local shop in Miami to get hooked up. I am outta here

Hmmm, I'm not sure where you shot that statement....but I felt it graze by me so I'll respond.

I'm not in their family, nor am I a friend other than talking on the phone. I have never met anyone from ZPI and I live 300 miles from them. Frankly, I don't even know what they look like....but Keisha does sound cute.

I pay full price on items and I get deals on others. Same as they do for many repeat customers..... and I wait for some items just like others. I order some items from them and I order other items from other companies. I know ZPI sells emanage and harness...but I didn't get it from them. Yet, ZPI helped me with the setup. Do you think Greddy would help a Mugen customer? I think NOT.

I believe the difference is this. Patience and trust. I have the patience to wait and the trust that they are doing what they can to hand build these kits, along with ESK, pulleys, etc and general service they offer for local cars. They don't have a staff of 50.

I still waited for months for it to show up and I installed it. I watched ZPI help me and others at all hours of the night, overnight parts and go above and beyond to fix dumb a$$ installation errors by shade tree mechanics and other company turbo kits that either destroyed the engine or simply can't run right.

I don't know what "ZPI language" you're speaking of, but I suppose you're getting a little ____ed there are so MANY ZPI turbo and accessory posts on here. Well...WTF do you think that means?

They are sending out KITS.

By all the numbers I probably shouldn't be so supportive but I do remember people complaining a lot before in the first round of ZPI kits out due to the wait, and then a lot of praise after they DID come out.

I do believe that between all the brands available that ZPI is the way to go. Once over this hump I know I will have a lot of great things to say. I'm wouldn't discourage anybody from buying ZPI stuff at all. Just be prepared to wait some...

Besides. ScionDad gave them HELL before he got his and now he's all good. That's good enough for me.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about your long waits as well. It looks like there are more than just a few of you waiting on this stuff. With all the other options out there like turbonetics and dezod, I just hope that your super long wait is worth it in the end
