anyone with pic's of oil catch can installed on tc?
If anyone has pictures of oil catch can installed on there tc's i'd like to see them. Thinking of getting one and if its worth it. How and where to mount it would be helpfull also pictures would be best.
I took my valve-cover off and tested the ports... The port on the drivers side has a one-way valve on it so you don't leak vaccum into the intake manifold. So you are really not catching anything by hooking a catch-can to the right-side valve-cover port. The port connecting the intake manifold to the valve-cover -That's what you should be looking into if you want the catch-can to actually do something.
There has been some conflicting information on which side has the one-way on SL. My info came from my 06 tC valve-cover when I removed it a couple of weeks back. That's why you can remove the right-side valve-cover hose and you will not feel any suction at the actual valve-cover port (be sure to plug up the intake side of the hose you you will get an air-leak).

Thats good to know! I'm taking my valve cover off in a few days for powdercoat and I was going to check the same thing. I'll have to hook my oil tank up to the rear vent hose then.
not to be confused but on my tc the one way is in the back. I know this cause i took the hose off the manifold and tryed to blow through it and i couldn't . Air dose go through the opposet way though. everyone says the one way is on the side so thats what i did to see. the one on the side air can pass both ways.. If anything I would prob run a catch can on both vents with a Y conector into a catch can then out to the intake side.
