I never saw Ptuning mention anything about 2.5" being better for a supercharged tC if it has an aftermarket header. All I heard them say was they did not have the opportunity to test a supercharged tC with an aftermarket header.

Hopefully in a couple weeks I'll be able to provide some numbers for everyone.

^ it was Draxcaliber that mentioned something about the 2.5inch maybe being better with a header since it will be less restricted.

i think the ptuning with headers wont have enough back pressure. and i THINK i have my system for what i want.... nice pure sound, not raspy, oem looking....

Pattern goes header-spipe-midpipe-axleback

dunno if you're still considering the Dezod exhaust, but here's an email enrique sent me to help my n00b ___ out:

Good afternoon Gabriela,
Thank you for considering Dezod Motorsports for your automotive needs. With regards to our Dezod Motorsports 2.5" S-Pipe Back Stainless Steel Turbo Exhaust System-tC for 05+, You will not have any problems installing this exhaust on your n/a tC. The only thing you will notice is that you will loose some low end torque but since your planning on going the supercharger route you will be fine. Your supercharger will run great with this exhaust. Also regarding the MMW Headers, you will not have any fitment issues. Our exhaust mates right up to stock.

Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions you may have.

-Enrique@dezod
so it sounds like even tho you'll loose that low-end torque w/ whatever pipe size you're gonna go w/, the S/C will make up for it.
