He is one of the best out there, he is even close friends with the owners of Turbonetics and Garrett. I would listen to him over anyone.

I believe you, I was just giving you crap man... and I was also just trying to show that even though he is your friend and he does have 680whp prelude, he is not the only one that has built a motor before... his personal opinion about a product doesn't mean that the product is crappy, and doesn't mean the product is amazing either.... If thats what he believes then thats fine, and if you want to follow his word then great for you, let us know what head gasket you do use... oh and you might want to change your S2 under your boost plans... just an fyi

I dont get why if people are using a part on the tc and its working well for everybody .....and then their friend says they suck ..... they already get a bad taste about the part. Go on the forum and if you really want ....post just about that gasket and see what people are saying about it. Get the opinion of a scion owner that has one not a non-scion owner that has a 600hp car (cause you will never have a 600hp scion . .......... im not trying to be a d!ck but just take it for what its worth). Its like saying that we have a bad engine compared to a full blown race engine ....that is a big difference. A 300hp car and a 450hp car is a big difference when you consider stress .....now you are talking about a 600hp car ....

well you have to remember that hondas have the largest aftermarket of any japaniese car. the h22 probably has many different aftermarket head gaskets to choose from. as it stands we only have cometic and oem. take your pick.

...besides. cometic is a well respected head gasket company.

^ if you have your engine out you surely want to spend a few bucks and upgrade to the cometic - it makes $.01's nomatter how you look at it.

LOL, you got me T_urboC_harged, I will try them out. I just plan on going 3" exhaust with the HKS Carbon TI muffler and 12 lbs, should hopefully be over 300WHP. I am at 9 lbs at 260WHP, what ya think? And that Prelude is SICK huh? Just got a custom paint job. He had it yellow before, but wanted to blend in with the crowd, sleeper look if you may. Also got a friend with a 480WHP Civic hatchback. It would prolly take us over 650WHP just to have a good race with him. His car is like 800 lbs lighter than us, crazy.

Yep, you can make a Honda/Acura soooo fast for cheap. Makes me want a 2008 Civic SI, BUT, since it's new, it will be costing more to mod it?

I don't even want a 600WHP tC, I would NEVER get traction. 450WHP is my utmost goal. I want 375WHP before any major machining. Like bottom end, headword, standalone, thats it. Then I will be sleeving it, etc for 450WHP
