i'm not sure i consider that nice.

much better than that...

he got hurt on the first dyno because of the auto..then got extra penalized on the second dyno.

here's my simple math:
manual whp around 135, people are seeing on avg about 195whp after the s/c (some a little better, but lets go on the low side).
thats 60whp
auto whp from 120, i would expect around 180whp.. but 168 (and thats on the third run, avg was lower)?
on the avg of 40 ponies that $80 per.

..that's making me reconsider the s/c.
i wonder how much of that is the ecu flash.

195?! i think the manual SC is average 185-190, and initally dynoing around 140, thats about a 50whp gain

Auto tC dyno'd at 121, and recieved 47 from the SC

So according to your logic, the SC is right on

you're taking the third run, which is higher than the avg. i'd rather go with the avg.

and i could swear i saw dyno posts here on the manual in the 190-195 range. some higher after upgraded bpv. with header and exhaust --> 210whp. (https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=asc&&start=75)
no way header and exhaust on the s/c added 25hp.

either way we could bicker all day. i say the expense is now questionable. apples to apples it is still less than the manual, and disproportionately so. so since it is the same gear i wonder how much is due to the ecm

and now he says he has the exhaust...which frankly only added a pony or two if he was lucky. the number is now even worse.

of course a header anda full exhaust could add 25whp with the supercharger

the strup header alone was dyno'd at 20whp, and i think its totally fesible to assume that 5whp was gained from the rest of the exhaust.

And since the SC was just installed, the ECU needs time to learn. I think its same to assume that the SC will make around 168 whp rather than 157 whp.

I honestly feel sorry for the original poster... I would feel cheated if I only got 47whp for 3k or what ever it is... Im gonna damn near reach that whp power number if not beat it.. in an Auto xB...

there's not much out there for us autos. Maybe if he were to add a header, s-pipe and a pulley it could change the numbers a bit.

sorry but a 20whp gain on a header had my fingers running for search quick. because if thats the case i'd be buying that like yesterday.

it was 20whp gain on a s/c WITH a 9lb pulley AND EXHAUST

..alone it is 8hp (and they dont even say if it's crank or wheel)

and the guy who installed the strup had 193whp prior..hence my 195 figure.

Hell, you auto guys need to get a Greddy Turbo kit instead. $2404 shipped from TPD racing... get some management and fuel.. and its still less then the S/C and you get 240whp with 8psi.

So I guess 05_RS1's dyno was accurate of the Supercharger on an Auto then. He dynoed 170 whp.

This is by far the best deal an auto tC can go with.

my only suggestion might be someone that comes with a stock curve set up for the auto's.....the auto tc sucks a little more fuel
