so im takin the kit off until next spring, puttin cold air and stock header back on. my question is...when the FIC is unplugged and its runnin off the stock ECU, will it be ok to leave my precision injectors in there? I figure the duty cycles and fuel maps will all be stock so the 650's i have in there will just be pumping out fuel based off the stock ECU tune correct? just trying to clarify

no your ECU uses percentages of the old injectors so if you have 1000cc injectors its going to use 40% of 1000cc instead of the 40% of the old size. the car actually wont even start with them in.

yes and no
i have run 550cc injectors without managment, at first your car will run like poop till the o2 sensor warm up and creates fuel trims. it will take out fuel to keep an afr of roughly 14.7.
now here is a problem though, you go too high of an injector on just the ecu to make fuel corrections it will start to spaz out. fuel trims get too high and ecu cant quite compensate.
you may throw a code for the high fuel trims, if so the code would be something to the tune of "system too rich bank 1 sensor 1"
this is very true, except the no part. you got the percentage thing correct.
