i searched a couple page's i know it's on here but can't find it. anyone know how close you have to get the cam sensor tot he dowel pins on the cam? i know you gotta modd the sensor 2 sit in a little more. info will be great

 

I thought you could tap the dowels out a tad bit for it to work...to be honest with you I would measure the distance from sensor to dowels with the stock cams. that should be the magic number.

lol and i just went and got the motor last night had 2 get a few things this morning about 2 get the motor outta my hatch and start gettin it ready 2 drop in

i got my boy coming over i got a feeler gauge im gonna measure his and use that and set mine like wise just knock the dowl pins out some more?

 

many ways to do it i suppose but tapping the dowels in or out was suggested in one of those threads about bc cams.

I havnt had to deal with bc cams yet but if i do id try tapping the dowels...if that didnt work very well id move to trying to shim out the sensor by either using a washer or cut out a spacer using aluminum.

I also remember someone sanding down the sensor...not sure exactly how that worked out but whatever.
