Default Bell IC kit for TRD guys.

Wondering what everybody else's take is on this IC kit, and if anybody on here has it/plans on getting it. Im going to buy Modified mag right now so I can take a look at their install, and results.

I was kinda dissapointed to find that the Magazine did a Install without testing, what's up with that? The car shown on bellintercoolers.com shows 280hp, but im not sure if they did that dyno with the nitrous shot they have shown on the car.

Of course they did. A TRD supercharger with an intercooler isn't going to pull 80-90 wheel horsepower out of it's ___.

what a pointless article.
they take all the time for this custom install of IC, piping..then say it feels like it isn't pulling. do absolutely no tuning and no dyno...of but they did devote the last 3 paragraphs to a gauge install...whooppee!
i am going to write them to tell 'em i want my 5 minutes back.

It will be interesting to see what they can do.
But a tune and dyno would be pointless. An intercooler on either a turbo or super isnt going to give you power alone. It juse gives you the ability to safely turn the boost up (or back to the original boost level due to pressure loss). Thats when the gains come in. Simply bolting it on would show power loss, so until they do more, its just another piece of the puzzle on the way to making power.

for my money...the point would have been to see how much they lost. that would be nice to know.

plus on the s/c it's not like you just 'dial' in more boost.

gojira is the name of that tc that is running a supercharger and a t3 turbo and the same time. i asked around and apparently it is just a publicity stunt (they wont even release any numbers), i think the same is true for this intercooler, very pointless, but at the same time catches everyones attention..

i'm guessing they didn't dyno because they knew they wasted their time and money. no use adding insult to injury.
