Buy a turbo if you want that much power... it'll be easier to get 300hp out of a turbo setup than an S/C setup.

it would take ALOT of work to get that much whp out of a s/c'ed tc. first you would need a custom made and tuned 11 psi pully, custom supercharger cam from rippmods and water/meth injection. then a good intake, headers and exhaust.

it is alot easier to get that much power out of a turbo than a supercharger. alot alot more reliable with a turbo.

I'm going with what jjos1 said but with a 9.5 lbs pulley. I Don't like the 12 lbs pulley i think it puts to much strain on the supercharger.

PS These mods are good for nothing with out a really good tune.

Maybe from RippMods?

the supercharger is made to run up to 25 psi according to vortech. so 12 psi is less than half its max potential.

12lbs is too much for a stock motor to take w/o meth injection (Cools the intake charge & Raises octane so timing can be pushed).

Look for Karl (IceNine)'s thread. He made 311 WHP (320WHP cold) with his S/C setup. He also spent a lot of money on it, too.

TRD SC
Forge 007 BPV
NST Custom 12lb pulley
Gates Belt (Smaller belt needed so it doesn't slip)
RippMods Meth Injection
RippMods S/C Cams
AW Header
Draxas Full Exhaust (2.5")
Greddy Emanage Ultimate (W/ Dezod PnP Harness)

Full tune from RippMods.

Actually it specs out at only 20psi or 65000rpm I believe.

Maxed out s/c vs turbo the s/c will outperform the turbo... it flows way more air. Assuming it's a bolt on turbo kit available for the tC... not a bigger fabbed turbo set-up.

i would go with a turbo if this is your goal. I like the supercharger and have been debating pushing it further. But it would have been so much easier to slap the Dezod (or whatever you prefer) kit on and call it a day.
I have the water/meth sitting along with some other goodies. but the reliability is scarring me.

If I could have done it all over again I would have gone turbo. But such is life.

I'm wondering if anybody is ever going to swap around there s/c configuration. The G-Trim is almost identical, but handles more boost, and flows 100cfm more, taking it to 25psi and 800cfm. The size is identical even. It would be interesting to see somebody attempt this.

Yeah but they are like 2g's right ? and I think after a 12lb pulley getting a belt to hold becomes an issue. Unless you make a larger diameter crank pulley, but then you would need to change the rest of the pulleys to make up for the higher rotation speeds.
