Most people blow there engines for 2 reasons:

1- Bad tuning

2- Miss use. Its so easy to get the urge to turn the boost up beyond what the motor can handle or what the car was tuned for.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF TURBOING ANY CAR IS TUNING!!!!!

You can have the best parts in the world and with bad tuning those parts are worthless.

There are allot of good manufacturers of turbo kits out there......But allot less good tuners.

What you need to do is look into who in your area can tune your car... are they familiar with the tuning software offered for the TC's. Its not that big of deal if they haven't tuned a TC before but are they competent enough to understand or have dealt with the systems.

Have fun!

Regards-

Todd

Ptuning tuner has gone to EFI University I believe? I thought I had good understanding on tuning until I got into some good convo with Toan (Tuner there) who can talk me under the table about tuning aspects I never even thought about!! Anyone can slap a car on the dyno and spend an hour tweaking the afr, but that's not a full tune.. so much is involved it makes my head spin!! I would have to agree with the tune being the #1 issue

Sorry D. I may be down in your neck for some tuning sessions in the next few months. If so, I will jingle you and you could get on the dyno with the 3 I have scheduled already.

i would agree.. TUNING is the key to and boosted engine!!

i'm towing my car to either Jotech, or PTuning to get tuned... i have talked to both and they are both super cool guys! Jotech is alot closer to me, so thats proably where i'll end up going.
