Default Blow through Maf Measurements!

basically, i need to know a few things!

how far does the maf need to sit from the throttle body?

and how far does the BOV need to be from the maf?

also, any chance of damaging the maf from this setup? although this question is probably pointless since ptuning does this on their kits!

Also people have been moving them on the intake pipes. Before everyone had them on the intake pipe after the air filter before the BOV. But I seen now that people are putting them on the pipe after the BOV.

That's what the OP is referring to. It's called a "blow-through MAF" setup.

I would keep the MAF on a straight section of pipe that is at least 8-10" away from the TB. Don't put the BOV too close to the MAF either.

Just take notes from PTunings setup and get as close as you can using what you already have in mind!

What gingles and b-real said. Or look at my thread and you can see a perfect picture of my blow thru setup. Just search for custom kit emotorusa.

i found your thread, looks good, i think i got a good idea about the length of things, did you have any maf or BOV related issues?

my setup is not coming through the fender, but rather over the tranny, i think i have enough straight pipe to make it work!
