Default Boo! P0136 Secondary 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction...

ok so im throwin 1 code...

thank god its not tune related lol (PTuning did good)

but whats wierd is that i had the weapon R antifouler on the car for about a week and it never threw a code...but on the ride home after the tune on the highway crusin at a perfect 14.8(lol) she popped on after about 150 miles

im thinking that the 14 hours of dyno time fried the secondary 02 sensor and thats why its throwin the code....

im thinking that the antifouler is working right since it never threw the cat below efficiency code....

so u guys think a P0136 is just a busted 02?

If it's a circuit malfunction, I'd think it would be wiring related. I'd test out the circuit before spending the ~$150 on a brand new sensor.

Also, I've never ran an anti-fouler and I've never thrown an O2 code or had any problems with my sensors.

Could be anything really, open, short, bad ground, loose connection. Get under there with a DMM and start checking voltages lol.

most of the time it will always go back to the sensor unless u burn or rub a hole in ur harness the odds of harness failure are very low from the factory most harness failures are caused by us ____ing with it lol....

mine always pops on and off when it pleases. it usually happens when i run it too hard for too long... i.e. canyon racing lol. i freaked out the first time, now i just learned to ignore it lol.

and i dunno about the odds of a harness failure being low lol. i left my car at home when i went to vegas because i was scared of running into problems on such a long trip and took our Sienna instead and that harness went out on me in vegas!! just my luck i guess!

Electrical tape works wonders! No, I'm not talking about using it on wires, just put it over your engine light on your dash! Problem solved!
