Default Boost at 70k

Im looking at getting a turbo on my A/T tc. which has 71k. Too late?

I've read the majority of the turbocharging your A/t thread, and i know that i won't be up over or near 250hp by any means.

Why wont you be over 250whp? You easily can be, just take all the precautions mentioned in the thread. As far as the engine, i would do a compression test to make sure everything is working well.

Noted, which is Easy since i have a compression Tester.

Its the Cost issue. Still being in college i Have to take time to pay for things, hence why i have waited 70k miles for a turbo....

I'm pretty confident the engine is strong enough, tranny was my main concern...

Run Synthetic trans fluid, valve body, trans cooler, and dont stall your car out too much. My main concern would be your converter and your valve body. Turboing an automatic correctly takes a lot of money. trust me

TRanny cooler is nothing, tranny fluid change not too much either...but a valve body...

Ehh just do what I do and run as much boost as possible and try to blow it up. Mine seems to stay together no matter what I throw at it.

Im buying the car because the motor was blown.. not because its all effed up!

Thats what I thought too. It doesnt like 18 psi though haha. I think if i had a converter it would have held together.
