so i get my turbo kit on soon dont really have any extra money for a boost controller and i wanna keep my boost level at 8.5 psi(the wastegate spring size) should i get one anyway so i dont overboost ,thanks

Because the wastegate would be controlling your boost and keeping it at 8.5psi. A boost controller doesn't actually "control" your boost, its for boost adjustment.

 

boost creep is a result of the exhaust gases not being expelled quick enough, which can usually be solved by porting the wastegate outlet.

ive seen turbo cars with wastegates that would reach the spring level and raise like 6 more pounds to redline it was scary thought she was gonna blow!

well...if you do experience boost creep, you can put in a weaker spring and use the boost controller to increase boost back up to your desired boost level. my wastegate spring is 7 psi, and with the boost controller, it is now running at 14 psi.

what the f find out about the pro efi and take 1 mor look at my car i am turbo b and i like the pro efi i have 405 whp at 9 psi and 490 whp on 17 psi and i can go up to 30psi befor the pro efi i hade 335whp so go look it up are call sound performance

Impossible to get 490WHP on 17 psi..i dont even think E85 people can do it.. Plus boost controller has NOTHING to do with how much power you are making. Its a support gadget not power making one.
