Default Boost Controller instal/trouble shooting

so i installed my manual hks vbc
the instuctions said to connect it to both nipples on the wastegate..i did so and then when i opened the bc to raise the boost i could hear the bc making hiss noises...im assuming it just made a huge vac leak...my uego just went --- when i did that...
anyone help me out with this please?
my wastegate is currently attached to my vac block am i supposed to take it off and tap my charge pipe instead?

Yea at idle...it is a manual not electronic bc if that matters...also I saw a diagrom showing to tap the compressor housing for the wastegate...I taped my vac block would that be a reason?

oh yeah...lol...its a bleeder type so yeah it is creating a small vac leak but thats how it operates and can be tuned around that vac leak (within reason)

So I should leave the top nipple open?
Either way when I open the bc I will have a vac leak....I'm not sure how this bledder type bc is supposed to function properly...
If I connect the wastegate straight to the charge pipe instead will it be the same problem?

Update: I unplugged the top nipple and now instead of using my vac block I hooked it up to a tap I had on my charge pipe right after the turbo.
Doing this I could open the bc and not hear the hissing noise.
My question is why does it not leak this way?
And does this sound right to u guys. Havnt driven it yet...
So basicly I have the wastegate connected straight to the charge pipe and the bc is inbetween the 2.

Yea the instructions saidto tap both nipples and connect to the compressor housing...I just figured the vac block would be the same as the compressor housing...except apperently there is no vacuum between the throttle body an the turbo lol. I hear no more hissing I'll take it for a pull tonight
