Hi I wanted to install just a boost gauge for my supercharger is there DIY or could someone explain to me how to install it and is a cheap eBay boost gauge good enough ?

you want a good accurate boost gauge,i personally would stay away from ebay...you get what you pay for..its very easy to hook up and install one

 

How to install it from start to finish? Moneys tight so eBay is my best route better than nothing at the moment

 

find out where you wanna put it,then wire power and ground,then run the tube in the engine bay,and t it off of one of the vacuum source,like by the throttle body,or brake booster etc

 

Where do you wire it up to? Not familiar with wiring

 

you can splice the power to your cig lighter fuse,theres a bolt underneath the sterring wheel,you can ground it to,if you look in the tech area,they will tell you exactly,where,but its all personal preference

 

How do I know which wires go to what I don't want to mess up my car Where is there a hole for the tube to go from

I have my boost gauge installed down in the cubby hole in front of the short shifter. I wired it into the cubby light wire so when my headlights get turned off it also turns the light off in the boost gauge. I would reccomend that over the cig lighter. If you wire it to the cig lighter then you will always have it lit up.
