Default BOOST ISSUE

i just recently installed a turbo kit on my car and ive been running for about a week....i started hearin a minor tap coming from the engine...then i checked the dipstick and there is alot of tiny air bubbles...need info...extremely worried

check oil leaks, oil pressure and oil level? what other symptoms the car have?

its a zpi stage 1 with a base tune sent to me from dezod...i havent drove it since the problem because im scared to harm it even more...i was going to get it tuned at rippmods soon but i dont think my car is ging to hold up...theres no oil leaks

i think so its high on the dipstickbut before the problem it was reading lower

So what I got out of this post was that when it was lower, you didnt have the issue, but now that its higher you have the air bubbles?

If thats the case then you put too much oil in and its been getting air bubbles in it from frothing around in the crankcase.

Don't want to scare you... but sometimes bubbles in the oil pan can be caused by coolant - that means you may have broken something. Although the thing you may have broken could just be a headgasket. I'm not sure if that would relate to your tapping sound though.

Oh ok, Well I was judging from the way you wrote your post, if thats the case, it seems like you may have ring problems or coolant may have gotten in.

hey thanks alot for all of your inputs but to be on the safe side my buddy has an extra set of 07 pistons and rings with about 4000 miles on it nd im going to drop them in my 06 motor along with a new head gasket...and i will remain on 7lbs of boost...heading to rippmods in the near future for a tune...thanks again everyone
