Boosted for over a 1 1/2....first engine problem
hey rythmn....think you could talk to sparco or someone about making some carbon fibre shelled child racing seats?
complete with a 5 point haness and everything! haha That would be AWESOME!! anyways hurry up and get the tc fixed...I miss all the videos
Recaro already makes child seats!!!
I saw one in a honda at CES where the whole back seat was taken out, replaced with a car seat that had a roll cage around it with a screen and game controller mounted to it.
Best part though was the No2 bottle made to look like a baby bottle!!
Edit:
found my pics!

If you plan to rag it all the time, drop another 2k and get the rods/pistons/bearings done and you can up the boost and still be good. I think the only thing really holding our engines back from high HP boost is the rods.
Oh yeah, rhythm,
when my wife started poppin them out, we had to grade the eclipse for a galant, and then up to a minvan
And I got a pic on my cardomain site of my son helping me install my rear sway before he was walking!!! (not really under the car, but funny nontheless)

Recaro makes some. Think they come in at $230 a pop...lol. He does have a 5 point harness on his baby stroller though. With like 13 inch wire wheels on it...

DUDE! That is P.I.M.P.
Those pics I posted aren't the recaro, but you get the idea.
The recaro's are actually much nicer.

Hmmm...call it the old geezer in me, but something about that picture seems very wrong. Oh yeah, that's it...building a nitrous injected race car and putting your infant child in it! It actually reminds me of a car, with a "baby on board" bumpersticker...with the baby in the mother's lap...and she was DRIVING!
Personally, I think once you have a child, you need to put the childish notions of a race car aside until the kid is old enough to understand what you're doing. Or at least keep the kid out of the car. Get a mommy-mobile or something... Nothing screams irresponsible parent like street racing with an infant onboard.
Oh well, back on topic. (That NX bottle is pretty sick looking, tough. :D)

Yeah! It was just for show. I don't think anyone would be careless enough to actually race with their kid in there!
I do have a car seat in my tc, but its also my daily driver. I'll take it out when I track race.

We don't have a space for the Baby seat in the tC though. But on that note, I have seen a few morons Race with their 2-3 month olds in the back seat. I wouldn't dare, that's why I drive the Buick with him in it. NOT EVEN TEMPTED to race.

But another thing just came to mind...what if the NX bottle leaks or a fitting comes loose? I'm no doctor, but I can't imagine exposure to nitrous oxide would be very good for an infant.
i was in my buddies tC one time and an xA floored it past us probably going 85+. we catch up to him and happen to get off at the same exit. next thing i notice a is baby in the back seat.
point is, people are crazy

I found a shop worth letting them touch the car just for something such as a Leak down test. I called them Friday, and they said Hr worth of labor @ $79 bucks. Sounds like a rip off, but they are the only ones close that can do it. I will be calling them Monday to setup an appointment, and then I will chime in Tues and post up what the findings are, or when the appointment will be.
