Boosted TC nitrous question
Current specs:
Greddy Turbo kit,Race clutch,Race Flywheel,Greddy E manage Ultimate,Tein Coil over suspension,HKS turbo timer, B&M,Sway Bars,AAM fuel rail
Is it safe to add nitrous to this setup 75-100 shot to this car. I will have the car in a week im new to the turbo scene. I want to cool the intake temps and gain some more power at the same time. I think there are two options for this alky and nitrous. I could be wrong thats why im asking. The turbo is as delivered 8.5 psi.

I thought it was better to spray inside (nitrous) than outside (spray ic) when it comes to power gains. Am I missing something? Also I was told spraying the IC would not produce power gains. Is that true?
What you don't understand is that your motor cannot handle much more power without some serious upgrades. Yes, your motor will yield more power if you spray directly into your motor, but your motor will also pop like a fire cracker not after long. Spraying the intercooler will make your inlet temperatures noticeably lower, producing more power. I have heard it increases power about 30 whp+ from some WRX guys. I would say if you wanted to do nitrous, spray your intercooler. If you wanted to spray directly to your motor, I would tell you to think otherwise.
Personally, I'd say stay away from nitrous.

What do you think the motor can take before motor upgrades are needed power wise? Is it topped out where it is now around 260HP or can it go up from there? How must boost can it take before motor upgrades are needed?
To be conservative, I would have to say 325whp daily on 12psi tops. You don't want to go much higher than that if you want to keep your motor around for a little while. All this is with a near perfect tune I would have to say, ideal numbers.
Lose the nitrous idea, just up the boost and get a really really good tune.

^agree......only way i would spray nitrous is on my intercooler......if you want to lower intake temps and get more power do water/meth......alot safer and better then nitrous......it allows you to run more timing without detonation.........the most important thing on a turbo car is the tune.........you can have the faster turbo tc alive but only be able to run it down the track once....
