i'll probably pick up a 3" exhaust from dezod or somebody else when i get extra cash. I got good enough HP for now.
oh yea - im not doubting it but i know you could have a few more. Im not sure if 3inch is too wide for that setup. look into what people are saying with your setup and a 2.5inch setup. Maybe 3 is good for this turbo - im not sure - i havent looked into it.
yeah dont know how a 3" compared to a 2.5" will do yet with this kit. Maybe MIAPLAYA or DEZOD can chime in for some assistance. From what I've know 3" is always the choice for turbod applications. But more input can be helpful.
I think they've all answered this before, 3" is just more heavy and not necessary. The 2.5" setup is more than capapble of handling power I think up to 500 or something stupid
whoa buddy, dont know who you calling STUPID , just trying to get input here from dezod and other companies out there. I know one company is coming out with a 3" exhaust so just trying to get input why they're going 3" and dezod went with a 2.5" for their turbo exhaust. If its more heavy and not necessary then that'll be my decision to make.

He was saying stupid power levels, as in ridiculously high, especially for a tC. No reason to jump down his throat. I think it's safe to say unless you plan on making large amounts of hp on your tC, like 500+, going 3" all the way back would just be a waste of money and weight. Just my 2 cents.

A 3" is not NEEDED for 300 WHP but in a turbo car bigger exhaust is always better. The less backpressure the better. It increase turbocharger efficiency..

kit is here and taking pics when i get time. Waiting on my gauge pod to get shipped from creativecompacts but theyre taking forever on shipping it out. Had it ordered on wed last week and no update yet. So nowhere to mount my gauges yet. You guys think i can install the kit right now and maybe start er up and not drive hard at all without the gauges maybe for a couple days or should i just wait it out til the pod gets here?

From what i hear its a safe tune so you should be ok. We Had one this weekend at the ZPI shootout and when dyno'd it the guy who ran the dyno was impressed with the tune. He said the a/f's were dead on what they should be.

The kit is bolt on out the box, it will run with or without gauges, safely. Thats the point of the Turbonetics kit. They would have included gauges if they felt they were critical. Install it and happy boosting to you!

Although I agree about it being safe. I would caution you to take it easy till you do et some gauges in there. After all it only takes one crimped pressure/vacuum line to not open the wastegate...

yeah, im taking it easy til i get a new clutch. By the way, with the kit, it was missing two gaskets. One for the turgo inlet and one for the oil drain flange from the turbo. Should i contact turbo-kits.com or turbonetics themselves?
