No it doesn't. The only way to know for sure is to take a meter to the sensor pins to verify they are within spec. The sensor runs on voltage so it could be anything; short in the wiring, sensor not within spec, etc. Sometime even when the sensor reads within spec the issue could still be the sensor, the only way to cancel out the sensor is to meter it and try a new sensor to see if you are having the same results.

I don't trust that particular way of testing. It's a Bosch heated O2 which reads a certain resistance between the pins, similar to the way the primary O2 sensor is read for accuracy. It's in the toyota tech manual but the resistance should still meter if the sensor is working properly.
Notice he says if it goes all the way clockwise it isn't reading anything, or at least nothing to scale. I didn't read the entire thread but i'm assuming it goes all the way lean but isn't staying there so you think it isn't the O2 sensor. A better way to narrow it down would be the technique in the video but soak the towel in brake fluid and wrap it around the O2 then light a match and place it very meticulously onto the towel soaked in brake fluid.
If your issue isn't your O2, you're sure you have no exhaust leaks since you have accurate readings at cruise and idle, your tune has gone to hell, hope it isn't the latter.

Easiest and imho, the best way to test a wideband is to remove the sensor - power it up - let the internal heater get it up to temp - than take a standard BIC lighter and hold down the button on the lighter - allowing the gas to flow into the sensor - it should than read completely rich - or close to it. If it stays at 14.7 or leans out - its def a bad sensor - also dont actually light the lighter, just hold down the button on the lighter without igniting the gas than hold the lighter directly below the sensor allowing the gas to go into the sensor.
you wont get any codes if ur lean or rich during WOT.....theres no monitoring of the a/f from the ecu during open loop
its AEM's calibration system. Awesome for ease of use but annoying to diagnose problems. I dont know the specifics behind it, but after talking to AEM thats why they said it will read a normal cruise afr but stop reading when fuel is added.
on another note you said yours was fairly new, have you been using race gas at the track any? Cause leaded gas will kill that sensor fast believe me

I use 93 octane regularly,Thanks for the update, hopefully its what you just said I will
probally get a new sensor on ebay for 80 bucks the cheapest I can find...
