Obviously he ran into problems. He has stated that. Why should he come on here and tell everyone what's going on if the car isn't finished yet. If he came on here and posted that they did this and that and a week later it didn't work than you'd be all ____ed. Let him get the damn thing running right before he post up false info that could hurt someone else's car.

What do you have to contribute? I had a problems with my car and told everyone what it was and how to fix it. What about you? I know you car couldn't be running perfect or always run perfect.

While yall all hovering around this thread trying to get answers out of someone who really isn't going to spill the beans, I'll be busy asking the pro's on what they did to achieve 734whp 580ftlbs on their stock Crank, street tC.

all the threads you read were off finished projects. I think Jeff, Dezod and everyone involved have done a great job thus far. I know you're going to just call me a cheerleader but think about it, all the other threads he does he posts after the completion. I think it's great that he even shares his next milestone and the steps he's taking to reach it. Likewise I agree with the decision to not share every detail as it becomes available. I'm sure that this is to avoid giving us all inaccurate information, and I'd bet a lot of money once his car is working like he wants we'll all get a very detailed explaination of what the problems were and their solutions. Sometimes you think you see a problem and know the solution but you're missing the bigger picture, the real source of the problem.
For the amount of money Jeff has thrown into his car and his willingness to share his experiences with us I think everyone needs to be more patient. I noticed he's looking for a new crankshaft, which I think is very interesting but I'm not going to demand he say why. This isn't wikipedia for mechanics, and when he has concrete facts to share with us there will be more discussion. No one has any right to know anything and the fact the we're told about it (and I've seen previous threads) indicate that all shall be revealed in due time.

yea if thats not made up then question 1 begins... did you alot of power and thats why? or was it because of the build? or was it because there was no break in time and ballz out.

P.s
has anyone thought to swap a 3sgte motor in these cars LOL

+1, as the Nitto tC that has the 739whp 580ftlbs, is running on a Stock Crank. If you are telling the truth and not BS, then it perhaps is a freak of nature.

That's pretty surprising. I wonder if it had anything to do with that earlier problem with the EMS not sending the right voltage. I was talking to a toyota tech and they said the stock crank is is really strong.

Doubtful, due to the fact the AEM EMS has a failsafe mode that if it stops seeing a signal it starts shutting down and loses power instead of damaging equipment.

The race team with their 07 had the loss of signal too, and their crank is fine. I feel part of the crank issue may have come from the bearings used or installation of them.

Installation Error, seems to be the most likely cause, cause the 2az cranks seem to withstand a lot more than any of us have pushed out so far.

That's good to know the EMS had nothing to do with it. Also good to know it has a failsafe. I can't wait to get mine.

It was installation error, I have picked up a new crank already. Didnt damage the block or anything. Instead of us putting it back together this time though, T1 is putting the motor together.
