Is that an additional 227? And was that with a Dezod or ZPI kit?

wouldn't there be NO lag since you never take your foot off the gas so its always revving...?

Once the turbo is spooled in an AT it continues boost through shifts unlike the MT. When you let off the throttle, then you will hear the BOV as well.

rhythmnsmoke 07-24-2006 03:52 PM

Turbo Lag....WHERE? :P

Auto on 5 PSI is about 100whp

5 Speed on 8 PSI is about 100whp and TQ. (240-260whp & 255-265wtq on 8 PSI have been the varied results based upon tuning and the environment)

sciontclv 08-06-2006 05:13 PM

You may all want to seriously consider the Turbonetics kit only. E-Manage isnt that great. The dezod kit makes alot of power but with bov that vent to atmosphere. ..... People have reported their engine bays being filled with gas from the bov not to mention your car runs leen on low end and rich on the high end.

E-manage is tunable however the factory cpu tends to overpower the e-manage system unlike the uni- chip.

Anyway just thought Id share that info with you guys. I hate to see people spend all that money and end up with something they regret.

318_tC 08-06-2006 10:10 PM

Ummm im running the HKS bov, along with half this board and got no problems what so ever...Ive never heard of the emanage over powering the cpu, i dont think alot of people would run the emanage if that was a issue. Uni-chip, you have to find someone that knows what they are doing to tune that.

Joe_Dezod 08-17-2006 06:58 AM

The emanage is effective for tuning anything over 80% throttle but nothing below it. We're nearing completion with our S2 EMS that eliminates that issue.

As for the BOVs... The main issue is where the vacuum line is T'd into. I recently drilled and tapped my throttle body for the vacuum source and even the TiAL runs perfect now. I already have a different pipe with an HKS for it so I'll be testing that one as well to prove the myth in whether the HKS is indeed better or not.

We at Dezod never stop haha

Joe_Dezod 08-20-2006 08:51 AM

Well I installed the HKS setup today and it runs even better. The TB tap made a much bigger difference though. This is just a really good way to finish it up. I loved the sound of my TiAL bov, but the HKS isn't bad either. I guess it just takes some getting used to.

So from worst to best...

TiAL BOV on stock vacuum hose<TiAL BOV with TB tapped<HKS with TB Tapped.

I'm happy with the results and am not working on more cooling options.

davedavetC 08-31-2006 04:18 PM

hey joe, if someone wants to get the Dezod S1 kit, can we subsitute the emanage for the new EMS?

Joe_Dezod 09-01-2006 06:45 AM

Yes as long is it's available at the time of purchase. It will slightly affect pricing though. When we release the EMS we will also release all upgrade costs for those purchasing our S1/TEA/Alpha kits.

mikeemurda 09-07-2006 12:09 AM

anyone know any new word about the worldracing kits?

peteyd 09-07-2006 12:26 AM

uhh pm Zer0 he knows about it.

zer0 09-07-2006 12:48 AM

i dont know... PM peteyd, he knows about as much as I do.

Hey Joe I'm very interested in the new kit but was wondering if u had any time frame on release date yet? A rough estimate will work. I wanna be one of the first in phoenix to rock the new kit!!!

Joe_Dezod 09-07-2006 08:12 AM

Are we talking about the TEA kit or the Alpha Kit?

The TEA kit is available upon request without the new EMS that still isn't ready yet. The Alpha kit is FAR from being done. That's the ultimate setup and will cost more of an ultimate dollar for those wanting to make some rediculous amounts of power.

djafropiq 09-13-2006 09:18 PM

Is the S1 gonna be upgradeable to the TEA? I'm really ready to jump on that new EMS assuming it'll be '07 compatible cuz I know you guys got the 07 S1 coming out soon..

wreckless258 09-28-2006 06:53 PM

wow, i am so totally lost, ive got an 06 tc, nuthin dun to it at all, im looking for an intake, an exaust, and a turbo, if any of u can help me out by giving me one specific for each, id b greatly apprieciative

my emails wreckless711@hotmail.com ,

thanx

mikeemurda 09-29-2006 08:33 PM

well you found the right site now all you have to do is read the're many diff opinions on whats good and whats not. look at the buyers guides youll find all the info you need.

fyi dont waste money on an intake if your gonna go turbo right away cause you dont need it. if you go turbo most kits come with an intake. But if i were you i wouldnt go turbo unless you know something about cars cause turbo's allways lead to problems in the long run and your gonna have to know how to fix it or its gonna cost you big bucks. learn how to drive your car and how it works then if you think your ready get turbo.
