Default Calling ALL GREDDY owners!!

Hey, I`m strongly considering buying a Greddy Turbo for my 07 SW tC. Got some questions.

1. What do I have to do to make it fit my 07 tC?
2. Is Greddy coming out with one that will fit it?
3. How much HP does it give right off of the bat?
4. Is all the parts good quality?

Any tips/suggestions/warnings would greatly be appreciated. I look foward to hear from ya.

For numbers you can search... But if you need to know i've seen around 240 whp with the fuel options on stock exhaust

As far as quality: Why would you even consider buying it if you thought there was even a remote possibility it was junk??? To answer your question Greddy's kit for the price is very competitive short falls have been: Instructions, the base map you get ( Mixed reviews on the quality of the base map, most say its fine for DD but not fine for beating on it everday)

Secondly as far as I know you will have to wait for the new kit to come out that fits the 07. By the time you pay someone to fab up the necessary parts to make it fit your 07 you might as well just wait.

A new thing that i saw that just raised my eyebrows is that on the oil lines the instructions telly ou to use teflon on the oil fittings which I'm not so sure i like that. Some of the actual Greddy owners would be able to tell you problems/alternatives for this...

I already have a Magnaflow Catback, so that will help a bit I suppose. Why would teflon be bad for the oil lines and are the instructions bad? So, what is the base map and what does it do? Could I make it better???

Well, you need a new MAF pipe for the 07, shouldnt be too hard to make.

A Dezod 07 PnP harness, and an emanage w/440cc injectors... I forsee it not being a problem on the 07, just need that MAF pipe/flange modified.

Average gains on a stock tc with greddy turbo kit have been around 240whp. Basically the same as all the others with 8.5psi.

Teflon isn't for the lines themselves its for the fittings, its possible that it could flake off and get into the turbo... The fuel map is what tells your car how much fuel to add with X amount of air... the stock map should be tuned on a dyno asap... So yes it can be fixed... As far as instructions i've never seen them but i get mixed reviews....

zer0 up there /\ /\ /\ /\ is being my test dummmy so he'll be able to tell you about instructions but so far i've only hear about how great everything fits so if you're a decent do it yourselfer you should be able to figure it out is my theory

I probably wouldn't know how to make a new MAF pipe and how to modify it. Like, longer, shorter, wider, narrower, etc? I can get the Greddy turbo for $2,750. How much will the Dezod 07 PnP harness cost? I will get the E-Manage Ultiimate and some good quality 440cc injectors, probably cost me about $700-$900

Oh, that would truely suck. Is there a teflon alternative? I'll tune it right away for sure. Want to raise the boost levels and lower the compression ratio. I want AT LEAST 300 WHP. How much boost think that'll get me?

Awesome! Can't wait. I live in CO, snow doesn't stop until April, so hopefully, it'll be out then.

Sounds like it's a good thing, what does it do and how does it help. And what do the previous models have instead?

Hopefully, it won't be me. At least this will help me when I get the Greddy. Would you recommend me to get the Greddy?

umm personally i'm pretty biased but you can get the greddy kit for 2400 bucks from the TPD so its a damn near impossible price to beat for pretty much the exact same horsepower gains as competitors...

meh... dont get greddy.. you have to grind the fuel rail, modify the heatsheild they give you, buy some exta nuts/studs... internal wastegate, install manual SUCKS and gives you wrong directions which could ultimately damage your engine (teflon on oil lines...)... ehhhh, i wouldnt do it....

im going with dezod now
