Calling all Turbonetics guys out there.....
Seriously planning on getting the turbonitics system... Wanna know what you existing kit owners think about the system... Any problems? What upgrades if any have you guys done to your kit?
If you dont like your kit... what kit would you have gone with?

since they dropped the price and you can get it for around $4k ..... its a good deal and with the year warranty .... thats good. If you want a turbo kit i would go wth either them or dezod. One thing I would do after getting the turbonetics kit is to get it tuned by a good shop. I know know if they have fixed their tuning issues but people were getting them retuned and have had good results.
I've had the kit for a few months and I love it! I've had no problems at all with any sort of stalling or idling. The kit comes with a really good basemap which is safe (unlike what i've heard with the greddy) without a tune. I only picked up 13hp once I got it tuned. I'm not a big dyno queen but once I was tuned on the stock psi I was putting down over 270whp.
The kit has a lot of potential, especially if you want to do some engine work (rods/pistons) so you can crank up the boost.
One of the main selling points for me was the 1 year anything goes bad warranty. Not to mention it was from a well known company.
I think the dezod/zpi kits are really great as well. They are all pretty much in the same ballpark as far as numbers and power are concerned. Just at the time I decided to get my kit it was the only one that was available to ship out when I ordered it.
The only complaint that I would say I have with the kit, which really isnt a complaint, would be the sound of the BOV. It sounds great but its quiet. In a sense I love it because I can still hear it loud in my car but others cant hear it that well. It makes for a great sleeper and picking on the unexpected!

I don't have a turbo kit (yet) on my tC... but I did attend the Turbonetic's tC open house. Based on what I saw/learned/experienced about Turbonetics, I would pay twice the price for one of their kits! Good thing I won't have to. The people over there kick ___, they realllllly know what they are doing, and their place is big clean, and friendly. I was very impressed with everything and when I finally have the money, I am going with Turbonetics all the way!!!
just wondering...ive been lookin into turbo also and i was wondering why noone likes the greddy???....whats wrong with the greddy puts out the same #'s dont it??...ive heard of alot of good things about the greddy...costs the same as the turbonetics????
Well a lot arent going for the greddy mainly because its not a complete system. You have to buy a few other pieces to get it running. I'm not a fan of how the greddy looks in the engine bay. The numbers are about the same as the other kits, but I really think greddy dropped the ball with this turbo. Especially with how popular they are in the aftermarket world.
The Turbonetics kit looks amazing in the engine bay. Fits so perfectly and the black intake piping makes it look so clean. I've gotten many great comments about the look and fit of the kit in my car.

So I would first get a new s-pipe with the T-net kit to make it great. Of course the tune is safe but thats to keep engines from blowing and the recirculated BOV is purposely designed to be that way. Yes, it's quiet but still noticeable.

Most importantly, you need to have a certified Unichip tunner to tune it. This could be a factor for you if the nearest Unichip tunner shop is across in another state.

I believe Tnetics has a state listing on their website. Not 100% sure, but I beileve they do.
