Default Camry 2.4L 2azfe

Just curious as if the Camry 2az is a direct replacement, im looking at one WITH the camry tranny on it still and just wondering if i can plop it right in with no problems.

I had heard i might still have to use my slave cylinder from the tc?

the E351 has a different slave. also it is a direct drop in dunno about sensors and what not but it will bolt right up.

the timing cover is different so itll require a custom motor mount unless you swap timing covers dont ask how i know

the motor itself will be a direct drop in. u may have to swap sensors over depending on the year.

so the timing cover? and sensors... also i have a auto ecu right now, think this will f it up on the swap?

i take it ur doin a 5spd swap?? im not 100% sure. i would assume so.

already did the 5 spd swap a few years ago, just still using auto ecu.

All sensors work no need to swap only different sensor is the maf

I did the Camry engine when my old one blew and realized the timing cover is different after dropping the motor in so I had to fab a custom ghetto mount out of scrap metal and misc hardware I keep saying its temporary but it's now been a yr lol

U just have to swap timing cover everything else bolts up

i had already scapped my old block to a shop who needed, and i was in a rush (which was stupid cuz car didnt even start up till 6 months later due to a wiring problem) and wasnt trying to wait for parts and i was disliking the idea of having to use rtv to seal im not the best when it comes to rtv ive always had oil pans leaks except ONCE and i use FIPG funny thing is i use rtv red all the time when rebuilding transmission and when reassebing 1jz and 2jz lower and upper pans no issues
