Default Can i Make 350whp on 91 octane?

i am running a DEZOD S1 kit and i was wondering if i could make 350whp on 91octane?

or would i have to use E85??

jw because alot of ppl have been telling me i must run e85 to make that power?

and also is it mandatory that i buy a fuel pump also?

how much boost? if your stock motor.. honestly no way ur gonna make 350 with a dezod kit unless ur on e85 or c16.

Technically possible, but not recommended. You'll need a bigger turbo and better fueling to do it efficiently and reliably.

my goal is to between 330 - 350 on 12lbs of boost.

you'd think a 50trim turbo would be big enough to make that power?

because im on 10lbs right now on a really conservative tune making 284whp. so hitting 300whp on 10lbs with a little more aggressive tune should be know problem. id think?

If you want to hit those numbers, you will definitely have to upgrade your fuel system.

550s will not support 350whp.(unless its a corrected dyno)
You will need to run around 14-16 psi to do so.
3" Turbo back would help but is not needed!

Let us know! Typically a turbo makes around 10-12 hp per pound of boost.. when in its effieciency range

Yea bigger injectors and why dont you run 93 octane? Im sure that would help a lil more. But a fuel return setup isnt necessary for 350 but it would surely help! But dependign on the 50trim turbo it should be good. My 50trim .63a/r could get there i think but i am not gonna go over 10psi on the stock engine.

you can make 350 easily on a dezod kit. but not on 12 psi. maybe on e85 on12psi but not pump gas. gotta raise the boost more then 12 to be on 350 range.

^ that aint to easy lol.. im guessing he doesnt want to go through the hassle of having to go find e85 everytime he needs gas.

honestly if ur making 284 on 10 psi i think at 12 psi and a tad more aggressive u could hit 310 MAYBE!

thats why i said you have to raise the boost more then 12psi.. in my opinion to hit 350whp and depending on what dyno you dyno at i think he can reach 350whp on 18psi.

The power level is possible. It will just become a matter of boost, fuel and tuning.

Your 550cc injectors will need some pressure increase to stretch that far. (This can be achieved through a return fuel system)

A walbro 255 will be required as well.

e85 wouldn't be to much of a hassle since I can run 2 maps. and also since there is a chevron that sells e85 about 5 miles away from me..

id run 93 but my. part of norcal doesn't have it... lamee haha

Just note, E85 use requires larger volumes of fuel delivery because it's optimal burning point is significantly richer than gasoline.
