Haha, I am actually thinking about going with TurboToyotas now. It just seems their kit has way more potential. I might cancel my Dezod order and go with them.

Actually, they haven`t charged me yet and can`t do so until they ship it out. I`m sure Dezod`s kit is a good one, but I want to get the best possible kit for my goals

so uhm...318_tc, who besides you is more responsible for helping your tc achieve 454 whp, dezod or turbo toyotas? i mean, i know you don't have an ordinary kit, but your ems is a beta version of the aem ems that dezod is making correct? i'm sure the turbo toyotas kit is good stuff too, but what does it have that dezod doesn't other than a larger intercooler?

and you have alot of potential with dezod, the s1 kit, the TEA kit, the signature kit, the sciontology kit.

Dezod...

Paul has helped me every lil bit that he possibly can! I have done my share of helping him back. We have achieved alot with this car, we have made alot work, we have tested alot, and we are still testing a lot. Only thing on my car that hasnt come from Dezod (motor wise) is the manifold and downpipe. Reason I changed was because Dezod doesnt have a 3inch donwpipe yet and the manifold from turbo toyota is better for the larger turbo...Dezod you can get a custom larger intercooler. My AEM Ems isnt a beta its the one they are producing...I was just the tester for the idling and everything else. We also tryed something new Injector wise. I believe he hasnt released that yet. People wanting larger injectors will like this...We are not done..We still got few more things left up the sleeves there...Remember im still on stock head!!!

You know, that aint right.
Todd is a cool guy, and if me helping you out let's him sell another kit, I'm all for it.

Ima starta new thread here sometime this week, so you can see then, but I'm planning on going to the track after i get tuned, so I'll let you know when I do, and you can come check it out first hand. How's that for making amends?

But seriously, in the future, use the search button!

Well the problem with our turnaround was you deciding on coating the manifold adding 2 weeks of time to your kit when it was ready to ship.

You said you had some financial issues rolling as well.

Paul,
I know your post was not directed at me, but I want you to know that my post was for forpinks who has not decided on any kit in particular.

20tC:
I think you should go with what you already have in the works. I didn't get my kit for a good 2 months due to having things coated, something going wrong with the coaters, and other issues. Whatever kit you get, you should expect AT LEAST a month or more before you get it depending on what's going on. Especially with Todd having a new born, you can expect things from him to slow down a bit.

I think you will be more then happy with the Dezod kit, and you can expect similar performance from all the kits out providing you do the proper upgrades down the road.

I was actually considering a Dezod kit, and they were very helpful when I was going that route. I ran into some financial issues, and by the time I had those figured out, the TT kit was out, and that manifold, along with the discount for testing the bushing kit out for Todd sold me.

With no coating, we are running about 2-7 days on a kit.
