Default can someone help me out?

alright as some of you know from my previous posts i blew my motor up a while ago and iam building the block back up, block will be bore 20 over with 89mm cp pistons, manley turbo tuff rods, stock crank, stock head. so now comes to head bolts or studs and main bolts or studs, this is what my machine shop said today.. main arp studs are $89.90, head arp studs are not avaiable, which they are not ptuning actually is the only shop that has arp head studs. cam bearing $36.60, blanace shaft bearing? $42.82, and copper head gasket $104.... heres my question, where is the balance shaft bearing? i do not remember taking a balance shaft bearing out and on top of that, ptuning does not sell a balance shaft bearing nor do they sell a cam bearing which there is one but only one..anther thing is that the main studs, once you install those you have to realign the main caps, which cost 200 bucks... ptuning agreed that you have to but its not exactly called that and i do not remember exactly what they called it. i have a zpi 16g turbo and plain on pushing a min. of 12psi on that turbo. my question also is do i need arp main studs? also would i have to realign the caps if i go arp?

Did you do a balance shaft delete? Because if not you could just do that and save your self the trouble of the balance shaft bearing

remove the balance shafts and tap/plug the oil feed to it, it is on the upper oil pan(the big metal piece between the block and the oil pan.)

If you are spending the money on arp's, and the other items, then get the align bore done

If you boost on a budget this is what happens, think of it this way you can spend a little now or a lot later. Get main studs they and you need an align hone after, I got mine done for $120 locally. Get head studs, dezod sells them at a competitive price. The balance shafts are the little shafts that look like cam shafts that are connected to the crank, once you take out the balance shafts you can take out the bearings, the balance shafts rest on the bearings.

if you remove your black oil pan youll see the balance cam case with both cams, you'll need a 14mm, or 12mm 12point socket in order to remove cover. once you remove oil pan youll see what we meen....

Here is a diagram, pump isn't driven with the balance shafts, the crank drives the oil pump. You have some reading to do before you tackle any engine building.

agreed, if they dont know where the balance shafts are, that means they dont have the teardown/schematic for the motor, which means theyll be assembling the motor just guessing at torque numbers. Also if they cant find the balance shafts without said teardown manual/schematics, I wouldnt trust them to do any work for me.
