You want your NA to sound like you have a turbo. Save yourself the trouble, buy a Civic, and let Uncle Ben's Long Grain Rice loose as a sponsor.

They make an electronic blow off valve. Was a big ricer thing to do about 4 years ago. Pretty sure you can find one if your that determined to be laughed at when people see under your hood.

the answer is no. you cannot put a true bov on a NA motor. NA motors suck, they dont get air blown into them. cant blow off sucking now can you. write that down.

A question about that product though... and bear with me, b/c I'm not really an FI person... but don't you hear the BOV sound when you let off the gas? So wouldn't this "product" only make the noise when you're on the gas? Or at least, that's when it would be the loudest?

And looking at the feedback for this guy is a good laugh as well... to see all of the retards that actually buy this crap.

Haha... well at least the theory/concept of the electric "supercharger" is right. It will force more air into your intake if it actually blows air (ever seen the leaf blower video?). It's just a stupid product.

But ya... under $100 and you could have a car that "sounds like you spent $3000 on performance" and certainly blows.

 

These are just a few of the feedback left about this turbo blow off thingy. hahaha. Looks like rice is a universal thing.

 

Ya, I shed a tear for the Scion one. That Porsche one is frightening though. If that was actually for a Porsche he should be getting a call from the dealer that they need his car back b/c he's a retard.

 

You know what would be mad tyte? Go up to a Lotus Esprit TT with a tape recorder and record the BOV sound. Then find a way to play the sound through some loudspeakers in your engine bay. Hell yeah man. It would be awesome.

 

I think it's been done. I really don't remember where I saw it, but I remember some product with recorded sounds of stupid crap like that that you could mount under your hood and have keypad for in the car...
