Toan showed me how other dyno's show the AFR, and when he changed some crap in the software, the line was perfectly straight across. It's basically a way for a tuner to get out of properly tuning the vehicle. Same thing as the correction factor, they can make that dyno read whatever numbers they want it to read. That's exactly why I went to PTuning and not RIPPmods. Toan took his time with my tune, he hit every load point possible, got the optimal timing, etc. If I went to RIPPmods in NY, they would have thrown on a base tune and printed out the results that I said I wanted.

I opened it up everytime I came out of the toll plazas on the way home
.
Just filled up the car...on the way down on my street tune and on 18's, I got 27MPG. On the way home, with more WOT pulls and a lot more power, I got 32MPG. If I stayed out of boost completely, I probably would have got about 35-37MPG.

i just miss the days on scionlife where it was automatic that after a good new tune, you were takin your car to the good old 1/4 mile dyno.
I know Ptuning did a good job but my only question is why are the number sorta low?
is it just me?
i was expecting 310+whp
it looks like 9psi
or is it that non corrected stuff

There are only two factors when it comes to tuning. Ignition and fuel. Yes, elevation and temperature are factors, but that has nothing to do with the actual tuning process.
yup 270-280s is about right, are actually good numbers considering the type of dyno used... and its true elevation and ambient temp are the least factors that can affect numbers.. though extreme temp can also limit your tune to a more conservative one, but with an efficient IC that shouldnt be a problem..

Actually, temperature plays a huge factor. I was peaking at 276 and we decided to let the car cool down. We just let it sit for about 15-20 mins with the fan blowing on it. After we cooled down the engine bay, I gained another 11WHP.
But that's another reason why I made so much power when I went there in November. It was about 30 outside and the car went straight from being outside to doing the dyno pulls. Plus Toan said my ignition map was close to being perfect. No clue how I pulled that one off.

I think Dezod would actually have to get their own dyno first...
