its way to far out, mike needs to talk to u about how to put it because the cyinder thing that the throw out goes on actually chipped a huge chunk away and he doesnt want the pedal to be pushed all the way or the throw out will get wobblee near the end of the dylinder, saturday is wayy to far lol

so i got the clutch in, its SOOOO much easier to drive than the stage 4, not even funny.... i got some new noises though, in 1st gear when i let it out slow than gas and start going i get a weird squeak/screech.. idk if this is normal, doesnt sound like my motormounts, then when i downshift i get a sound that is replicant of bad brake pads.... hmm hopefully this one was put in right *cough mike* :o im nervous lol, the point where my clutch engages is SOOO far up like, when i let it out in first to start the rolling the pedal is almost all the way up.. need to adjustment ASAP

That noise is the fact you have two full cermamic non sprung disks grabbing..

Like a brake pad...

but yea if you dont adjust that clutch your going to have another failure soon!

so.....since were on the subject of clutches.....ive been having problems with my clutch not disengaging....at first i thought it was the master cylinder so i rebuilt it...same problem....then i adjusted the clutch pedal as it was about an inch off the floor when it released....it is now around 4 inches......it drove fine for about 3 days then one day i was coming to a stop sign and it wouldnt come out of 5th so i yanked it out and the car died.....only thing i noticed was the slave cylinder was all the way out.....did i have my clutch pedal adjusted to high?...also i smelt burnt clutch...bad...and its a cc stage 4.....whats the damage to the clutch?...should i just try a new slave cylinder or is a tranny drop in order?

ur clutch might failed lol, everyones stage 4's are going, wait so if u put it in first how far to u release the clutch before it start engaging and rolling on its own? and how much free play does ur clutch have, i just adjusted my clutch after a walk through pete and mike gave me and i turned the rod over like 2 whole times and i barely notice a difference lol, were supposed to turn the rod counter clockwise correct?

it would engage about 2 inches off the floor and had alot of freeplay.....theres not so much freeplay now though......fu<k....i really dont want to drop this tranny as i have limited tools right now....son of a biatch.....ok....so are we supposed to be able to feel the throw out bearing if me move the shift fork with our hand......i had a good amount of grease on it when i built the motor.......i really hope the throw out bearing didnt get stuck engaging the clutch......oh i can also shift through the gears fine with the car off so i know its not the tranny
