Default Charge Pipe

Alright so im in the ordering phase of my custom turbo setup and i cant seem to settle on a positioning for my charge pipes. Part of me says to run it the traditional way, around the tow hooks then up through the fender.

Im wondering if anyone has run it straight down under the radiator then straight back up just left of the battery tray, with 90 degree angles on the ends of the IC. It just seems a bit more direct and less need for welding(as i hate welding after doing my maximas turbo, lol, long story).
The other question is what size IC would work for this. How far apart are the tow hooks?

i did that, ddin't work too well, bay looked way too cluttered.

best bet is to go at 45 degree angle from side left side of car and straight up on the right side that calls for minimal bends and welding

alot of 90's

90's are bad for flow. You want smooth transitions in the piping. Your best bet is to keep to 45 degree couplers or bent piping.

Or you can just be done with it and get our intercooler pipes for less than $500 with T-bolts and silicone

I appreciate the offer Paul but right now moneys too tight to spend on such an easy component. However where i could use your expertise is in turbos themselves. I know you guys carry a good selection. Im looking to do a tnetics t04e 50 trim. The problem is im lost in the turbine AR's and stages. Im hoping for an easy 300hp with boost setting in at around 3k, no more than 8.5psi. So do i go .48 stage 3, .63 stage 2, or .63 stage 3. Honestly, i just need to know what the damn stages mean, hardly any other company uses stages, its all AR.

IMPO, stay clear of the Tnetics and go Garrett or Precision turbos. They are more reliable overall and less prone to failure.
