Default clutch gave out last night

....sucks big time, i just got it dropped off to double check and see it its just the clutch, but casual driving shifting into 3rd is like putting a chunk of metal thru a cheese grinder. i was on the highway enjoying the cold weather when going into boost my rpms just shot up out of control and my car gave me a nasty lurch back. im pretty much 100% certain its clutch.....

so what do i swap too

stage 3 clutch masters?

does your car move when you step on the throttle or it moves very slow even if you're in gear and all the car does is rev high and move very very slow? or its just slipping when shifting

depends on temperature, itll move, doesnt slip between shifts itll slip when im full throttle at higher rpms itll just let go and stop accelerating.

I did it by myself without a cherry picker (two jacks needed), and took less than 11-15 hours to do it. Then again, I am RhythmnSmoke.....

Ive done 5 clutch installs on the tc, got it down to about 9 hours, with 1 jack, 2 jack stands, air tools, and 2 guys

if you have a basic knowledge of mechanics then you should be fine doing it yourself.. I suggest that you replace the flywheel with a lighweight one since your already in there

No, on a serious note, you can do it by yourself. But you for sure will need two jacks for the purpose of aligning the tranny and the engine back together. As well as a jack to drop the tranny down with (just got to lean half your body into the engine bay to guide it down with your hands.

Yeah me too. I think I've lost count of how many times I've taken out my tranny, and members of our crew. Only did mine by myself one time.
