Default Cracked Dezod Manifold...

Hey, I picked up a used Dezod kit and it came with a manifold that has a tiny hairline crack in it. Is there any way to repair something like this? I've been looking and it seems like some stores sell high heat (2000F) epoxy to fix manifolds. Or should I just go and pick up another manifold.

Thanks, JOE

I typically do not recommend rewelding a broken manifold, all though some customers are all about it and insist we do it. Also depends on where it's cracked it might be easier to get a new one. Post up some pics please.

Also, be aware if it has ceramic JH coating on it, it may not be cracked. We had one customer think his was, and it was coated JH silver, he sent it back to us, and on inspection, it was the coating that cracked, not the manifold.

I will try to get pics up tomorrow... it was coated and I havent had time to get a really good look at it. It is a tiny crack on the 1st inlet near where you would mount it. It might just be the coating... The rest of the kit looks sick, you guys really pieced together some quality stuff.

Yes feel free to email, PM or post the pics. We'd be glad to look at it for you.

Thanks! People typically do not recognize the quality of it until it's in their hands....
