Default Cry o2 FMIC

hey is anyone using an FMIC sprayer.. if you could send me a pic or post one that would be great.. I am looking at buying a Cry o2 kit in the next couple of weeks. How much power are you gaining?.... none?..... Is it just to help with heat sink. Is anyone running Nos+Cry o2? im looking to cool myself down a little my EGT is kinda high. I have an oil cooler but it seems like it only helps a little bit. Any sagestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

the spray in front of the intercooler is a good idea... but it just concentrates on the surface and dont really get the whole intercooler. There is this company who has a patented intercooler. you should check it out www.speedmaxperformance.com They integrated this coil with in the intercooler so that when you spray co2 or no2 it chills the tube and creates a refrigeration effect. It cools from the inside out and definitely keeps co2 or nitrous from contaminating the air going in ur engine

They also have other products that can help you cool things down. The ice tube is another item that is pretty crazy.

I like the idea of cooling down the front mount heat exchanger. However, I think that it will have little impact on bringing down your EGT. Try having your tuner add some more fuel in the combustion chamber....that will bring down the EGT a bit.

well actually the sprayer cools the incomeing air... its just like freezing the fins on the intercooler... the air actually cools as it passes through the intercooler hense the name.... this is like puring water over dry ice... it cools it off in a hurry but only for a bit... I know it definatly helps with the heat sink issue which is caused by your turbo blowing hot/warm air through your FMIC after awhile the are isnt being cooled as efficianly as it could be.

The ice tube product is an amazing invention however it is almos just as expensive to buy a Cry o2 kit as it is to buy ice tube products... plus it is not an on demand item... after aq bt the ice melts ans well as you have to pull it out at night when you wanna refreeze it..... Mad props for the invetion though

Anyone running nos with there turbo??

Dont think we are talking about the same product. The ice tube requires no ice what so ever. It uses co2 nos or even water to chill a coil that is wrapped around a 3 inch or 2.5 inch pipe hehe did u even check out the website?

but I would have to agree with NurSpec, your issues goes beyond a front mount spray. Tuning might help as well.

I would consider a water/meth injector more than this, but its a good option

well no I didn't check out the website while I was at work but I just did and it clearly said you have to remove the can add water and freeze it overnight... I understand the FMIC concept however I'm not going to pay for another inter cooler that would be more than buying a cry o2 kit. As far as my tuning goes it is defiantly where I want it.. even adding fuel I think would be kinda a waste considering it is $4.54 a gal for slightly lower EGT

#2 is anyone running a meth injection with an FMIC?? It seems like kind of a waste... and a little dangerous... usually people running one or the other... I read in a topic i found on the Search about water injection and it seems like it would be ok to run but i don't know about together

^^ it will no way be dangerous or waste if you have it tuned right.. it will make your intake temp cooler and less prone to knock or detonation.. and it even allow you to have a more aggressive tune safely.. meth/water injector will be a good addition to FMIC

EGT gauge will be helpful too, it even is more useful in tuning than the pressure gauge but most run oil to watch for oil leaks..

yea - thats right. Also you would be tuning it ...then if you wanted it frozen you would freeze (the tune doesnt change) - colder air after the tune can only help matters.

good to know im running both an EGT and a wideband...(im guage happy)..lol its just that it sux that I have to tune it all the time.. im going on my 3 tune this week... lucky that my friend has a dyno but it still cost me $50 a shot... wouldnt it be almost as effective to lower the FMIC temp ans it would to get meth injection.... I understand that meth is a great thing its that it cost the smae as a cry o2 kit and I will not have to retune it? i guess im more inclined to spend more $ to retune it than to slap on a sprayer and call it a day
