How many people would be interested in custom faces for there aem widebands ?

I have been thinking about doing something where you would send me one of the extra faces from the gauge and I would make a new face for it.

hmmm interesting... could you do it for the whole line of AEM electronic gauges??? Could you do something to where the new face would match the stock tC gauge faces??? if so I would be in once I get the gauges of course...

 

Thats what I was thinking making it Silver and I could do the whole line of gauges I just need to get one the scan in and make the template from.

 

Get a picture of some ideas you have - sounds like a good idea but I need to see an actual pic of what you mean

 

I will send you one of the extra faces once I order the gauges, that is one thing I didn't like about the gauges was the fact they didn't offer them in a silver.... I want this to happen so when I get my gauges I can have silver and be unique!

 

Okay I will make a mock up of a wideband face and post it.

 

This sounds like it could be pretty cool, I'm guessing you would also be able to do the same back lighting. I always like all matching gauges. Although sometimes the different colors can be kinda cool, giving you the not so stock feeling.

you should send one of your extra face plates... i don't have the gauges yet otherwise I would... then he can have them made in no time!

 

If someone could scan in there tru boost and oil press gauge I could use that I need a high res scan to work with.

Hmm...I got EUGO, Oil Pressure and Tru-Boost.
I'd be interested in seeing how these turn out in silver.

looks great!!!! I would rock that for sure!! Could you also keep the boost, a/f, and temp markings on it as well for that "stock" appearance... or would that be too cludded? either way, looks good! keep throwing ideas at us!

 

Yeah, real nice, but it's gotta still say "Oil" or "Boost" or whatever on it.
Have you thought of any way to actually light the faces up?
