Custom made guage din
Been working on this for about a month now and finally got to it, made it out of plexiglass for now but seems to work and holds up good, so far just got the one gauge but working on the other one at the moment. Wanted to do this so i could be super stealthy on the road instead of someone noticing a triple gauge pod or whatnot..let me know what you guys think! i still have to remove the paper on the plexiglass just to let ya know.

Rerouted my cd player to my glovebox, still gotta work on something to hold it better but this will work for now. Sorry for the crappy cell pics but it was all i had at the time.

yea, it kinda sucks cause i wanna reach where the gauges are now to turn it up or down but cant ha, but im still figuring things out but for now this will work, people wont know what him them! lol..still a work in progress but this is the mock up for now..
Pac adapter for using steering wheel controls with aftermarket hu ftw.
yea trust me i already tried to mock that up, even if it did fit id need to get a longer harness to stretch that far into there. I got some more ideas yet but for now it works fine, just waiting on getting my real gauges here so i can wire them up
Thanks - that was one of my Saturday projects last summer - dont know why the angle looks so weird in that pic - but in actuality the gauges are facing at about 80 degrees above horizontal - about the same pitch as the center console - so they are in perfect view for the driver. Only downside is sometimes the sun will drown out the wideband if its at the exact right angle - but that rarely occurs
Option 1: Triple gauge pod, which can be seen from outside the car or basically any angle therefore the other driver is 95 percent sure your boosted
Option 2: The ATI Ezpod which therefore can be definitely seen from all directions making him 95 percent sure your boosted.
Or Option 3: Make your own gauge locations, I chose the Radio DIN because when im driving around town i can leave the flap down and then when i wanna smoke someone i just flip it up and watch that boost leave increase!
Its preference tho, and my project is to keep the looks completely unnoticeable as much as possible, sound doesnt matter cause once you take off theyre just gonna be like WTF was that??
But its all personal preference, I have had a triple gauge pod before and it was alright but too noticeable for alot of people.
