Default Descendant turbocharged Automatic tC1 build

Here's some pictures of a local DESCENDANT customer that ditched the TRD Supercharger in favor of a DESCENDANT-Racing.com Tuner-Friendly Turbo Kit and our 3" tC exhaust system.

This automatic tC1 pulls hard on the streets and will head to the dyno in the next day or two. Customers only looking for 270WHP and we should be able to hit that on about 6PSI.

So...anyone who is questioning whether or not they can turbo their automatic tC1 here's some positive proof of it happening!! If you have any questions please feel free to contact us!

You might be mistaken but the DESCENDANT kit has always came with the Bosch unit. We offer the TurboSmart Billet as an upgrade but it's defiantly not needed because as you can see in the video I attached below I made over 350WHP using one no problem.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CujPRAhdq3g

Plus...if it's good enough for Porsche to use it as an OEM part on the 911 I think it's good enough for our Scion kits!

Any work on the tranny?

Pushing 270 is very nice, but unless I'm mistaken, I thought the A/T was rated for 250whp?

Nope, stock transmission with oversized cooler.

270WHP might be a high expectation but it's a possibility.

I dont remember for sure but if I recall Tina's made 263WHP on the dyno and she's A/T

on 6psi I doubt it will hit anywhere near 270whp. Probably 220-230whp mark on 6psi on a dynojet. May come out like 250ish-260ish on the dynapacks they frequently use.

Ah.

I just recently have a cooler with mine and a complete 2.5" exhaust and I hit 240 at 7psi about a few months ago, which is considered pretty nice for a auto.

But regardless, can't wait to see what happens.

Well rock on.

Surpassing the 250+ mark gives me something more to shoot for without having to the drop the tranny.

...yet.
