I've got an 06' Scion tC, looking to go turbo. Any suggestions?

I just saw this new Descendent Turbo Kit on TRDsparks.com anyone heard of it? Looks legit to me but I'm hoping someone has it? even though it's still pretty new.

Then again, I do like the Dezod kit too.

Both are about the same price. Any suggestions?

 

I have experience with Dezod and it's top notch. Made 100whp gains just by bolting it on and properly tuning it. It's also probably the best bang for the buck right now at under $4k plus a tune.

I like the manifold on the Descendant kit, however I don't know too much about it. I'd like to see some results from it.

Also, don't forget about the PTuning kit. I've seen it in person and it's definitely a great kit as well. If I didn't already have a Dezod, I'd be hard pressed with the decision between Dezod and PTuning.

 

i really like them both. the only thing i don't really like about the decendant kit is the internally waste gated turbo.

also, i haven't seen any actual dyno results posted for the decendant kit, so while i'm sure it is a great kit, i don't know how it stacks up against other kits in terms of power output.

 

i am new into the turboz game too. i was reading much on zpi and they seemed the best but they dont make turboz anymore =( this guy rythmnsmoke or travis or something spoke very highly of them i was saddened to hear they passed on.

also it seems that ebay offers much quality at competative prices. i read rave reviews.. they sell lots of them so much be top notch im thinking.

 

Wasn't descendant working on trying to get there kit carb legal awhile back?

The only thing I like about the Descendant kit is the manifold - and even so, I would want to modify it to accept an external wastegate.

Go with Dezod or PTuning.
