Default Dezod Development Team update...UPDATED 8-21-06!!

We've been working on a few MAJOR and more expensive upgrades now.

Current Progress - TEA EMS system is nearing completion and most of the bugs are worked out. We're working on ignition for the time being.

**UPDATE 2 for EMS**
We learning a lot about the ECU and how the tC responds to various attributes. We are also learning some tricks to help make the car less prone to detonation, without actually robbing any ounce of HP. In essence, we may have a way to get slightly more HP with less detonation for any given tune. Expect the largest update to date on our EMS at the end of this week.

New Products:
Dezod Alpha Kit (ETA LATE Fall/Winter) - The ultimate in turbo performance. Nothing held back. More reliable, much more powerful, and only available for built motors with a new EMS (higher redline needed). Race clutch is necessary.

Expect to see full long blocks soon. We already got a full motor. New head packages, engine block options and custom internals will be available. We're also working on tranny upgrades including LSD and new gears to better utilize the expecting 450-550WHP.
**UPDATE 2 for long blocks**
We've actually been selling the majority of our pistons already but our test pistons are done and we are under way in our quest to completely bullet proof the motor. I'll be mounting cameras inside the tC and taking it to a local drag and road race circuit (Firebird in AZ) once the car is done. We will fully test our motor before we produce them.

We can not say the names of the parts we're using because we're are currently taking advantage of the exlcusivity that's been given to us. We're very fortunate to have the contacts we have and I think we'll soon be SELLING the most powerful 2AZ motors in the country. I'm not even scared to venture as far as saying that. Each part is of the highest quality, and we're taking every single imaginable precaution to make these motors pump out rediculous power with more reliability and efficiency than a stock motor. This is the kind of motor that will allow you to make a 50 lap road race circuit pumping over 25psi of boost the entire time. That's how confident we are in the engineering we've been doing.

Stay tuned guys, more to come!

NEW UPDATE:
We've finally began R&D on cooling upgrades for Turbo/SC tCs. We are taking precautions in every aspect and are in a large prototype stage for the time being. This is JUST beginning so I don't have too many details yet. Just know that we know what we can do with a stock motor right now, and what's too much. We then know what the next steps are on each point of the car to add the necessare reliability that people need to get their project underway.

I am 100% aware that this is not the post to post at for this but I feel the same way. I am looking for a good company like yourself to give my money to. Can you take it? ...hehe. j/k - but please think about it for the future. There are many s/c people out there that are looking for good #'s - we already know we can get the car to 240whp w/o any problem so that means 260-280 is a realistic goal.

Thanks for everyone's interest.

We still have been talking about the S/C and misc upgrades right now. We do not plan on releasing any custom intakes of that nature. We're actually a vendor for the beloved NST and would never attempt to take any market share from them by marketing our own pulleys. I believe strongly in their product and when they decide to make higher boost pulleys we'll gladly sell them for them. For the S/C itself, with so many people having problems with the S/C system we've been holding off. I'd feel guilty if we were blamed for a blown S/C because of either some new tune or misc upgrades to make more power. I'd say this built motor platform is great for S/C guys! You can all try to convice NST to make some 14+psi pulleys and we can hook you guys up with an IC and a ported head/built block. That should make close to 300hp no problem.

We at Dezod want to stick to what we do best and continue to do it. It's not just math, it's applied theory, experience, and knowing the right people to get the job done the way it needs to be done.

Our race engines can be run for hours on end at HIGH boost and not give out a single hiccup. I'm very confident in the level of engineering we're putting into this and can't wait to prove/show everyone just how much detail we put into it.

We've been working on transmission and cooling upgrades as well. I think everyone's jaw's will drop when they see our Alpha kit running at the tracks haha

This is all too much, it is even too good to be true. Right when I take the plunge that I want to be boosted, you guys step in and say you have even more things to come. WOW, Dezod.... YOU ROCK!!!!!
