Is that a CEL? My car is in the low-mid 11's right now as well, but that's untuned. I will tune it the same, around 11's A/F.
No, it's the maintence required light.

Ok. I wasn't sure, I thought it did look a little lower, but thought I would ask.

Standalones are $850 for flat rate tuning or $100/hr (you choose) plus air fare and and hotel (if applicable). Sometimes it's easier to just go hourly if you need to get a touch up on an existing tune. In Jarrod's case, it was virtually an entire retune. We touched so many maps and changed quite a bit to get it to where it is now. So in his case, I spent 11 hours and he made out on the flat rate tuning.

So jealous that you got him to come down and get you on course 110%. That's the one thing I'm a tad cautious about. Not having the satisfaction of tuning available in Florida. =\

Oh don't you worry Paul, if I get to go out there I plan on breaking that mark or breaking something in the process!

So if I get a 13.59 does that count as 13.5? Don't worry I am pretty sure I should be good for under that.

Yeah I just had to make a ultimate decision, let some joe blow try and tune my car or shell out some benjamins to have a pro come and do it. So after popping one engine the choice became clear. I would much rather spend $1500-$2000 on a professional tune than to have to spend $3000-$5000 on replacing an engine.

And let me tell you again I what paul was able to accomplish on my car, he really brang the beast out in her!! I hate to even get out of the car that is how much I enjoy driving it.

Trust me I know how much stuff is I do parts for a living. I know if you want a junked out 2az $1400 is about right for a good one around $2500 and if you want to go all out you can buy factory new for $4500 just for the short block. :D

I am not a firm believer in salvage or used crap. Like the old saying goes you get what you pay for.

I suppose a 13.59 will suffice. Now hop to it!

Junked out....LOL. Nah bro, my boy picked up a 2az with 20k miles on it for $1,400 and that price was SHIPPED to his HOUSE! He put his turbo kit back on, and is pushing 9 lbs presently.
