These where intended for boosted tCs with forged internals to handle EXCESSIVE boost pressures.

N/A, you would not want this mix of parts.

Darton claims that the sleeves will hold 55psi. I don't expect anyone to boost to 55psi. The pistons are strong and the rods are claimed to be good enough for 200hp per cylinder. I'd say that so long as your tune is good you should be able to rev this engine to 8000 no problem.

Not at this moment. We certainly could but I want to spend a little more time on the flow bench before I come up with a specific port design to offer the community.

This can be done for sure. If you are in need of a built engine PM me what you are looking for and we can talk.

Oh I just remembered dezod offers built head for the tc. Will it be possible to get a fully assembled head+ short block, so all i need to do is install the IM, tranny, sensors and wires

You will still need to transfer your cams, your oil pan, lower assembly, etc.

$5,000 for a Dezod turn-key built 2AZ-FE?

Loving the short block idea. Since my wife killed my motor swap dreams, this will be a viable alternative.

We can most definitely offer a complete turn key crate engine but I do not think we would be offering this as a stocking item so it would definitely take some time to get this built. Probably 3 weeks depending on machine shop back up.

If anyone is interested in this just PM me or Paul

I will keep this in mind, seems like this my best option and best deal I can get. I just dont trust any shops when it comes to engine build, I need a reputable shop to assemble the critical/precision components, then the bolt on parts I can just do..

Im not ready order though, 2K left to save then I will pm you guys soon.

Not trying to thread jack but why do you sell these SLEEVED? We run 40psi + & make over 900 LBS of torque on a stock block / sleeve combo.

Seems pointless to do that much machine work to something that doesn’t need it...let alone the Darton MID has terrible cooling characteristics for street applications. They work great for race / extreme conditions of Honda's & other weak block designs but defiantly not needed in the 2AZFE.

Im usuing p-tunings open deck sleeves! Also what transmission are you using to hold 900ft lb tq.. since the transmission is proven to break at only 500ft lbs

We use an Xtrac 6speed Touring Car Gear Box.

To install a unit like this you'll need a custom bellhousing like the one we designed in the picture below...plus custom axles & custom mid-shaft.
