Neil, he was having Intercooler issues as it was not his original Dezod intercooler, thats why the piping is like it is.

The only thing that concerns me now is the oil filter leak. Hope i can fix it in the morning. That and the fuel rail...

Your actual filter is leaking? didnt seal enough?

Yeah, it might be the filter or the plug...but there is some on the pan so I think it might be the filter not tightened down all the way

I hope your pan sealed 100%.. if its the oil filter, just go get a new one, and put a little oil around the ring and put it on.

from 3 turbo'ed cars that ive seen/engine bays
wat has happened with the oil that gets into the turbine/bearing area and burning it up = bad news

Let me rephrase, its not 100% necessary. I know plenty of people who are running there car just fine without the oil catch can, I at the same time was boosted for plenty of miles with no oil catch can, and I ran like a champ, plenty of people can vouch for that. Although a Oil Catch can is functional, it no means is it required. Also, I can say that it doesn't hurt to have one.

I drove around for a month with that oil pan that way. It was done by a Pro garage...not myself.

Well I think that between my catch can and my oil cooler my turbo is fairly happy... I think if I went to a little lower boost it would run even better

Yeah, I am as well! I have an appointment with Corner3 Garage to over look all of our install work and just double check everything then I have an appointment with Church's right after to get it all straightened out.

My biggest issue now is that leak between the waste gate and the downpipe =/ No matter how much I try and tighten it down the metals won't touch creating a gap. The exhaust leak sounds like a boat haha. It is also creating a lot of extra heat in the engine bay.

I more than likely won't be pushing more than 5-6 pounds with that leak. But honestly, if I get a boost controller...I don't want to push more than 5lbs.

Going to actually start a discussion on that now.

I saw the gap. Did you try tightening down the WG first, then the dumptube?

yeah I dono if I would even rin it like that...... I had to Take my Wastegate off and put it on the manifold frst and then put it on my downpipe to get it to fit... you could try that and see what happens. I know its a pain to do but whatever works

The gap is in between the Waste and and the manifold...but the downpipe is the thing that is causing the fitment issue because it is actually PULLING everything to the left.

Kind of a weird explanation but I don't know how else to explain it heh.
