Default Dezod S2 Kit Catted or Catless?

Im ordering a Dezod S2 Turbo kit very soon for my 08 tc, and i had some questions about the downpipe option on the kit. The 2 options are Off Road Special Catless downpipe and a Catted downpipe. The Catted downpipe is $150 more and some of the questions i had are as follows :

Whats the difference?
Is it worth getting?
Pros and Cons?
Sound/Performance difference?
What do most prefer?

Thanks for the help!!

Whats the difference? Off road catless is a straight downpipe but catted has a filtration section that should keep you from throwing a catt efficiency code.

Is it worth getting? It's personal preference your choice.

Pros and Cons? Catted will let you pass emission test if you have to take one

Sound/Performance difference? Catless will be louder when you get on it but a high flow reosonator should help you. Performance wise not really sure how much hp you'll lose if any running a catted over a catless.

What do most prefer? Most prefer catless

Hope this helps you a bit. Go to youtube and watch some videos to get a better idea of what catless turbo cars sound like.

If I could throw flames AND not have a CEL, I'd be in heaven. lol Hell I even had a CEL with the catted downpipe.

Yeah I had a (used) catted DP for a while, but still threw a code.

After further inspection there wasn't anything even in the cat, so I'm not sure if a real catted DP would throw a code

It never used to throw flames tho, up until this summer. Now it throws em everywhere haha I love the look on peoples faces

For those of you guys using catted downpipes, how are your AFR readings on your wideband? wouldnt the cat mess up the accuracy?

I have done sensors before and after a cat, to be honest, on a Random Tech cat, the readings are minimally different.

Is that why it still throws a code? haha I have the Dezod w/ catted dp and could not get my CEL to go away. I ended up having to take the kit of to pass emissions (even though technically I was 'legal').
